Item Description

Custom steel-forged ice axes. Used for climbing ice, as well as moving banks of deep snow on the alpine rock walls.
Can be accessed with hotkeys "1" and "2" or through inventory belt while on peaks. Can be used individually or simultaneously. Drains grip-strength when used individually.

You obtain the Alpine Ice Axes after you summit three Advanced peaks. And is given to you by Porter because you need them to climb the mountains of The Northern Range. These are used to hold onto ice holds, icicle holds, and large dark icicle holds. To get the Golden Alpine Ice axes you have to summit all peaks in Free Solo Mode, which gives you the achievement Living Legend.
