The Solemn Tempest is an Unconquered/Abysmal peak from the Expert book. It is the second of the 2 expert peaks in the game. It introduces the gimmick of Richard. At the beginning of this peak you will find a bag on the ground which contains the bivouac, it allows you to place it down on a wall and it will save your progress if you quit the game.

Tips
When first starting out, don’t be afraid to use your ropes, as the early attempts are mainly about just getting better at the first couple thousand meters.
You could set rope goals, such as not using any rope for the first 3000m, or even 6000m if you feel you’ve gotten good enough.
The bivouac is a useful tool for the long climb, as it allows you to exit out of the game and stay in the spot you left in. Make sure to be inside the bivouac when closing the game and remember to pick it up in case you need it again.
It is good to get every collectible before attempting the mountain as it provides infinite coffee and chalk, double length rope, and a max of 42 ropes. You could learn some of the easier speedrun skips, as many challenging parts can be skipped.

Go slow this is the longest peak in the game so take your time and don't rush.
Skips
Learning the skips can prove to be very useful for first summits, free solo summits, and both Wally mode and Avian Chaos. It is important to keep practicing the skips, as this way they become more consistent and much easier to pull off.
