Seagull
About Obstacle
Seagulls are malicious birds that appear exclusively on levels near water. There are two types: always active, and neutral.
Neutral seagulls
Neutral seagulls are found resting on holds, and will remain stationary unless they are touched by an outstretched hand. If they are touched, they will begin to circle around you, periodically swooping down to peck your hands off of holds. The seagulls telegraph attacks by screeching. Neutral seagulls will stop attacking once you go a short distance from the hold they were resting on, in which case they will return to said hold.
The first instance of a neutral seagull is on the fundamental The Lighthouse.
Always-active seagulls
Always active seagulls attack in the same way as neutral seagulls, but they will automatically attack you within a specific area without being provoked. There are only 3 instances of always active seagulls in the game.
The first instance of an always active seagull is on the fundamental Land's End.
