About Game Mode
The normal play-through game mode is the only mode you can when starting the game for. In the Normal Mode you only get three save files. Normal mode has NPC interactions, co-climbs and door knocks, which isn't in every mode. Normal play-through is the easiest game mode. For this game mode you have no additional challenges to face and have access to every tool.
